Why the name: "Listen For The Trumpet"?

Matthew 24:31  tells us what is going to happen in these last days.  Jesus Christ is going to return for his people.  Those who have received Him as their Lord and Savior will be caught away and be with Him in His home in glory.  What a day, what a wornderful day that will be.

Let’s read that passage: Matthew 24:31  “And he will send out his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.”  Just immagine how wonderful that will be:  if you are ready!  On the otherhand, immagine how awful it will be if you have not accepted  Him. In revelations it talks about the great tribulation.  Those who reject Jesus, will go through seven years of hell here on earth.

Have you received Him as your Lord and Savior?   If you have not:  pray this prayer and you too will be ready to go to His home in glory.  “Lord Jesus, I ask you to forgive me of all my sins.  I receive you as my Lord and Savior.”  Tell one other person the Lord saved your soul.  Find a bible teaching Christian church and start learning about your new Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

We are a Christian baised site.  We believe:

  • The bible to be the true and living word of God.
  • The trinity to be the Godhead of, Father Son, and Holy Spirit.
  • The death and resurrection of the Son Jesus Christ.
  • The only way to heaven is through the Son, Jesus Christ.

The Temple of The Holy Spirit:

Where does the Holy Spirit reside here on earth?

Let’s take a look in 1Corin. 6:19-20 9 “Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; 20 you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.”

Paul also tells us to not defile the temple of God. Corinthians 3:16-18 King James Version (KJV)”Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are. Let no man deceive himself.”

 

So, just becuse we are a Christian baised site does not mean we will not deal with things of this world.  We have to live in the world: but we don’t have to live of this world. Meaning:

We need to take care of the temple the good Lord gave us.  To that point, much of this site will also be dealing with what a healthy lifestyle looks like and why it is not okay to abuse our bodies through addictions, whether those addictions be through, food, drugs, alcohol, or tobacco.

Since we have a double certified nutritionist, biologist, anatomist, and health educator on staff, we will be addressing healthy eating habits and what they look like.  We will address how to break the chains of addiction in our recovery section.  You will learn why you–as a recovering addict–get addicted to sugar and why it is imperative to adopt a healthy diet.  You will learn what that actually looks like.
